Krystal - old style by Yamavu

Krystal in her original style. Before "Dinosaur Planet" became part of the Starfox Universe, Krystal was no fox but of a strange vulpine-feline race. I liked her much more at that time. She was more a mystic heroine than a damsel in distress. That "Warrior Woman" thing is quite important. Why would a "innocent fox-girl" choose to stand up against somebody like General Scales? Because she's brave and self-confident. She's no Princess Toadstoal that needs to be saved all the time. She's rather a Samus, who can do quite a lot on her own.

I had no idea that the coloring would take ALL DAY on this XD I'm not quite sure of the results, but I admit that I like how her uniform turned out; it was my first attempt at the leather-look. Also, the yellow Verrocite crystals in her tech boomerang also turned out better than I was expecting (those dark, jagged parts is the core of the Verrocite crystals - they light up with charged, as you've probably seen in my Ancient Sages pics). HAHA Just a little play on words, and a joke with friends SEE TWO FEMALE DOGS? It's legit. Left to right Keahi, my shiney growlithe morph, Jonas the alakazam(he uses a staff instead of spoons, we called it his pimp cane, (which was part of the joke) and Shera, the albino houndoom morph. The alakazam is the only one that isn't a pokemorph haha THEY ARE IN PASTELS IT LOOKS LIKE EASTER COLORS hahaha I really like the color contrast for the shading there, I think it gave it a nice look. Adobe Photoshop 6.0... but I kinda live-traced the lines (because the original line work I did was done at 72 DPI.. AURG!)
